Servicing a unit that has a fault

A general service cleans filters and checks drainage. It won’t trace a refrigerant leak or diagnose a failing component.

If something is already wrong, ask for fault-finding first.

Topping up gas without a leak check

Refrigerant doesn’t deplete on its own. If the system is low, there’s a leak somewhere.

Insist on a pressure test before any top-up.
